For this task, me in my group of four decided to focus on a boy and his journey right from the start of enrolling into college all the way to him participating in tasks with his friends. I used my iPhone to film these short clips and we used the video editing software, premiere pro, to edit the clips together and add this music into the background. I like the up-beat vibe of the short film and think its a good, inviting tone to promote the college perfectly.
During this task, I learnt how to use the basics of the software Premiere pro. I really enjoyed learning my way around adding and importing the video's into the software, cropping and playing about with them. I found the process quite difficult and challenging however I enjoyed it as I love the outcome and think it's really simple but quite well made.
This is the promotional poster we made for bede alongside the video. I like how it features rhetorical questions that question the viewer and make them think what they like and whether they'd be suitable at this college. This poster and video target the audience perfectly with an inviting tone that makes them drawn to bede.
